Meditation Classes
Meditation may serve as a means of relaxation from a busy daily routine, as a technique for cultivating mental discipline; or as a means of gaining insight into the nature of reality, or getting in touch with your inner self. It is a state that is experienced when the mind dissolves and is free of all thoughts, a mental opening up to the divine, invoking the guidance of a higher power.
Our classes offer a unique approach to meditation. In many styles the goal is to quiet the mind and find the quiet space in ourselves. In our style, by contrast, we attempt to connect with our heart which then guides us through the areas of our body, mind, and soul that need our attention.
Bring loose fitting clothing and a meditation cushion. (Some meditation cushions are provided on a first come first serve basis.
Sessions are Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. $10.00 per session. Classes are one hour. Please come to the house next door to the clinic.
